Dear Fintech Friends,
The European Fintech Alliance (EFA) kindly invites you to our Policy Day on April 3rd 2019 in Brussels, to discuss how a European regulatory framework can help the fintech sector grow and contribute to its international competitiveness.
EFA was founded to represent the political interests of European Fintechs at national and EU-level. Our goal is to promote an innovation- and tech-friendly regulatory framework, which promotes the long-term competitiveness of the European Fintech sector, while ensuring sufficient consumer protection. Our Policy Day offers political decision-makers the chance to get in touch with a variety of the sector’s leading companies and discuss possibilities of a beneficial regulatory framework.
However, this goal will not be achieved, unless further regulatory development that allows for innovation in financial services will be undergone. The creation of such a framework can only succeed in close cooperation between companies, politics and administration, which is why we would be pleased if you would share your views and thoughts with us at our event. Our Policy Day offers you the chance to get in touch with decision-makers from politics and administration and discuss possibilities of a useful regulatory framework. In this context, we want to discuss in particular the state of play concerning regulatory sandboxes across Europe as well as the implications of outsourcing and the impact PSD2 has on the sector.
